Hon. Kerrie Maloney Laytin

Dear Friends,

Welcome! I am a Circuit Judge for the Circuit Court of Cook County, appointed to the Carole Bellows Vacancy by the Illinois Supreme Court. Currently, I am assigned to the First Municipal District in the Richard J. Daley Center, hearing municipal matters, including landlord-tenant disputes, criminal traffic court misdemeanors, petitions to rescind statutory summary suspensions, and municipal ordinance violations. I have presided over more than 100 bench trials, motions, and hearings since taking the bench in January 2019. I was found qualified or recommended by all evaluating bar associations. I would like your vote in the March 17, 2020 Democratic Primary to keep my seat on the court. Thank you for your support!
